Let's Play a Game!
I have made a group for the class at purposegames.com. I have been looking for fun ways in which we can learn all of the Louisiana parishes. This is what I came up with.

Gallimore's LA History
I made our group private, but you can apply to join. I have created a tournament using several "games" that involve matching the names of Louisiana parishes to their locations on a map. I know.... I know... but really if the games aren't that exciting at least you get to brag that you're the best. You can win by getting 100% or by finishing the fastest time.
I am looking at making some games in Flash, but my actionscript skills are not what they used to be... and creativity takes time. We'll see what comes of it if anything.
